John's been working on a career fair expo for work and it has taken over for him a bit lately. He's had to do some early mornings and a few late evenings to help get everything organized and it has been a lot of work. Well, today was the big day and I got lots of texts from him showing me pictures of the room being set up and that things were going well, which was really nice to feel like he wanted to share it with me. He got to go out for drinks afterwards with the contractors they hired to do the lighting and AV, so when he got home I wasn't sure if he'd be in the mood to share a glass of wine with me and tell me all about it or not. I was hoping so - and sure enough, we sat on the couch and he filled me in on how much he enjoyed the day. It was really nice to see him excited about it. He even brought home extra crackers from the event and he was super funny about his santa size cracker sack he toted home (which was essentially a clear trash bag). So, it was definitely a happy moment to sit together, hear about his exciting day, drink a glass of wine and eat some cheese with that crazy assortment of crackers.
