So much for daily posts! Or monthly ones! Time is flying. Elizabeth is now 4. FOUR. I looked at her passport picture today from when she was only 9 months old and it made me double take. Could this really be the same person? She told me flat out, but also very genuinely the other day by looking me straight in the eye, "mommy, I am not always going to be your little girl". I didn't have much to say to her in response other than just look at her with softened eyes and say "yes, but you will always be my girl....and I will always be here for you."
So, I need to get back to writing things down. So many moments during each day that are turned over with another nights slumber. Before she turns into the teenager she keeps threatening to become soon!
I continue to populate the I like book, which as space for two entries per day about something you liked about that person. Soon there will be two years worth of "I likes" and those are the true daily happy memories. Yet I am finding that the little spaces afforded in the book per day are not enough for the stories behind the likes. Yet another reason to start writing again here too!
